2000

ComedyRed People's Choice Award Winners

The five members manufacture a brand of quick-change, stocking footed sketch comedy bristling with energy and risky invention. The team are still firing on all cylinders.
4 stars - The Scotsman

This sketch group is as funny as they come. Writers often find it hard to produce punch lines to end sketches, but this frequently proves to be their forte, with some great gags to get them off stage. The 2001 Edinburgh show should be something special.

The Uber-team are quirky, inventive and polished... eclectic, inspired and terrific!

1999

Take Python's originality, The Fast Show's silliness and the wanton depravity of The League of Gentlemen. Add a generous helping of the zest of youth, whip to a frenzied consistency and you have one mighty fine show! It's what every punter hopes for but rarely finds, something genuinely new, vibrant and fresh, the raw brilliance is unmistakable. Shockingly offensive and deliciously irreverent, be prepared to laugh like a fat uncle!
5 stars - Three Weeks

Surrealistic, irreverent and often brilliantly offensive. A rich seam of comic talent, and the versatility and almost anarchic approach of the players make for a refreshing change from the tired clichés normally trotted out in comedy revue... Delivers a sledgehammer blow to the audience every 2 minutes... This is a show with no moral qualms; if people are to be offended there are any number of shows on hand to do the job, but it is unlikely that any are as funny as them!
