Entertainium November 05, 2008

Come to the Entertainium!

We've found we rather like performing in the West End, so we're doing it again!

In 2009 we have a six-week run of Friday nights at the rather splendid Leicester Square Theatre (the clue is in the title), where we'll be presenting our 'Entertainium' - the place where we'll do anything we can to keep you entertained.

Sketches, songs and silliness in a cosy cabaret setting with a private bar. Come along and kick start your weekend with fun!

More dates and detailshere.

Dick and Dom. Or Dom and Dick. November 05, 2008

The Legend of Dick and Dom

We've been sat on this bit of news for a while as it was touch and go whether it was actually happening, but following our success with The Slammer we've been asked to write an episode of the upcoming 'Legend of Dick and Dom', marking the return of the mucky twosome to CBBC for the first time since Da Bungalow exploded in a shower of creamy muck muck.

You can see our episode - and the others, if you like - from January next year on BBC1. And then repeated over and over on digital, if we're lucky.

1,000 bonus points if you can name the 2001 Black Sheep sketch that our episode is based on...

ADDENDUM: Our episode has been chosen to be broadcast at the official premiere in Leicester Square!

Who's the Governor? April 13, 2008

A sentence in The Slammer!

Rather more than a sentence - an entire script in fact!

Following our appearance on the first series of children's BAFTA- winning CBBC show 'The Slammer', not only are we the ONLY act (out of about 50) to be invited back for a second appearance, we were also commissioned to write the scripts for two of the episodes (which blend prison sit-com with variety performances. Actually 'blend' isn't so much the right word. 'Lumps' is probably the right word. Somehow it makes sense...)

So in all we're involved in three episodes of the new series, currently going out on BBC1 at 4.35pm, two of them as writers and once as prisoners!
